District Nurses
District Nurses provide care to patients in their own home where there is a physical or medical reason for not attending the surgery. However, patients are encouraged to attend surgeries or health clinics whenever possible, where medical expertise is more readily available.

- Monday to Friday 09:00 – 23:00
- Saturday and Sunday 08:00 – 23:00
Macmillan Nurses
Macmillan nurses specialise in cancer and palliative care, providing support and information to cancer patients and their families, friends and carers – from the point of diagnosis and during their illness.
They help patients make informed decisions about their treatment, and guide them through the maze of different services. They also help people to cope with problems such as the symptoms associated with treatment and disease.
The services of a Macmillan nurse should be requested via your doctor’s surgery. However, if you or a family member require the services of a Macmillan nurse outside normal surgery hours, please call the Patients Line on 0118 936 5653
