Bracknell and Ascot Clinical Commissioning Group has set up a community of “Healthmakers” to ensure people with long term health conditions are able to offer support to each other. The idea was born from the Olympic “Gamesmakers” initiative, which saw up to 70,000 people provide voluntary services to make the games the success it was.
