Julie’s Story – Mental Health Awareness- Cancer Support

This is the story of breast cancer patient Julie. She talks about finding the support she needed to help cope with her mental health difficulties.

After treatment began for her breast cancer diagnoses, both Julie and her husband found life difficult. The treatment had a huge impact on Julie’s mental health. She felt isolated and alone and like nobody understood what she was going through.

Here Julie and her husband discuss the difficulties the diagnosis had on their mental health, and how they both got the help they needed to see them though this difficult time.

If you or a loved one are going through a similar experience and feel like you need support, there are people out there who can help.

You are not alone.
